Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate the blessings in life, and of course have some fun with friends and family while you’re at it!

Cowboy Chicken teamed up with Sarah Mize of @DallasLoveList and @FortWorthLoveList to throw a Texas sized Friendsgiving at Petal Pushers in Deep Ellum.

Dallas Love List grew out of Sarah’s exploration of the Dallas food, arts and entertainment scenes as a newly minted Texan moving from Knoxville, TN in 2012. The platform has grown now to include Fort Worth and has become a go to for foodies looking for edible inspiration across the Metroplex.

Sarah invited 15 of her closest friends who joined up to give thanks and celebrate each others company.

The feast of course featured the Cowboy Chicken Rotisserie Turkey Holiday Package to feed the whole posse! Our catering team delivered a hot & fresh turkey, along with all of the sides including green beans, corn, twice baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravy, as well as apple and peach cobbler. Plus tons of our famous tea and rolls.

When the food arrived, in true foodie blogger style, the phones came out to document the feast.

Overall the night was a success with belly’s full, new stories to tell around the campfire, and appreciation for DFW foodie friends.
